I'd call this nasty GK, because we will need strong defence in today's game.

Mexico has two ideally prepared forwards (1- solid form/excellent stamina; 2- solid/solid).

So far they have only 1 winger (injured), so probably they'll call up a replacement.

We have better inners, so we should try to dominate Mexico in a ball possession. Our strong central defence is a must because of their nice forwards.

I think they'll play CA + pic.

Depends if they pic or not, and what inners they bring.

With pic they shouldn't take possession with 5inners. With normal it could get more complicated.

So you expect a CA with central attack? You don't think they will normal?

Mexico is very good team and I don't hink they will play PIC. Only underdogs play other than PIC in first match and only in this cases this have sense.

I think that 4-5-1 with FWTW, wb, wg-off, wtm in this engine and situation will be safe and good tactics.

I'd go for a nasty keeper in form as well. What do you think they would play?

Most tempting it seems to be a 352/343 aim with normal, and then of course they could also do pic+CA/pressing(adef).

I have a lot of tough decisions to make both in terms of which players to call, and tactical choices but I hope I'll take the good ones.

I made the calls for todays game. We have 22 players in the squad.

They still have not made any additional call-ups and have def coach... plus they should be aware they are not favourites... i would say they won't risk attacking formation

Maybe they're saving all these moves for the last few minutes. Anyway they have to make some more calls, with the current forms their best lineup is a 442 with 4def,4inners,2fw...

Isn't this call-up move too early? Or you want to show muscles and force def tactic from Mexico ?

I always prefer to make calls in advance so in the last minutes/hours I can focus on tactics. It's for my peace of mind more than anything:).

No new call-ups in Mexico so far. Maybe they are more interested today in the real World Cup game? ;)
